I worked on a team of three to complete a comprehensive preservation survey for the Music Library, which houses one of the largest music collections in the country. My focus for the survey was on disaster prevention and recovery planning.
I created a pocket plan based on the WCH’s full disaster recovery plan. Disasters don’t stick to a calendar, and the document is designed to fit into a wallet or pocketbook, allowing for easy access no matter when a disaster occurs.
I worked on a team of four performing a contextual inquiry on Gale Cengage Learning’s work management software. The process took four months and included observation of multiple team members. The deliverables included a client report and presentation of our results at Gale Cengage Learning offices.
I curated a collection and designed an online exhibit about the parallels between brewing practices and technology during the Industrial Revolution.The exhibit can be viewed here.
